Default Should FIFA change the host country of 2010 World Cup

I think it's too late to change. South Africa 2010 will be a financial disaster from the looks of things....and it has almost nothing to do with the worldwide recession. It has simply been mismanaged from the beginning.

Let me start off by saying... KAK!!! what the hell do you know about the way things are going here? I live here and thing should be just fine by the time the World Cup gets here. Roads almost done, new stadiums almost finished, the rugby pitches (Ellis Park) will be relayed to football quality, Hotels and Guesthouses preparing, airports almost finish with constructions, 10's of thousands of new recruits for the Police are being trained and measures being put in place....... So what are you on about?? Where do you find the mismanagement?

One thing I can say... they should have been done by now, they started a bit late.

As long as safety and security are ok, all the rest is secondary.

And some tourists losing their cameras or Nike-Sneakers can't be a reason for saying that a tournament is unfeasible.

Now, with the first FIFA World Cup on African soil, there is chance for African football to be more competitive. The spin off from hosting the 2010 FIFA World Cup has gone a long way in encouraging faith in the hosting ability of Africa countries.
