Default SPL review

Rangers 1st = Deserved to win the league but poor consistancey led to Rangers nearly losing out in league

Celtic 2nd = Poor displays in Both domestic and Europe led to them just being poor all round, poor manager desicions and player discipline has outraged and led to players being unhappy aswell

Hearts 3rd = Great performance this season after so much disapointment last season , both Players and Manager deserve a lot of credit for terrific displays

Aberdeen 4th = Jimmy Calderwood has been wrongly critisised this season again and I think Aberdeen did not deserve to finish in 4th, however Jimmy did very well to get them there so I wish him all the best

Dundee United 5th = Great manager, Good players, but terrible consistancy but they deserve to be in Europe

Hibernian 7th = Very good players but terrible manager, he is Hibs downfall this season

Best club players:

Rangers = Madjid Bougherra, C Def

Celtic = Scott Brown, C Mid

Hearts = Bruno Aguiar, C Mid

Aberdeen = Sone Aluko, Wing

Dundee United = Morgaro Gomis, C Mid

Hibernian = Steven Fletcher, St

Motherwell = Steven HughesC Mid

Kilmarnock = Mehdi Taouil, Wing

Hamilton = James McCarthy, A Mid

Falkirk = Scott Arfield,C Mid

St Mirren = Andy Dorman, A Mid

Inverness CT = Grant Monroe, C Def

with a couple of exceptions celtic have been very poor this season. said at the beginning of the season that Strachan was making a mistake staying on after last season, where they also looked stale until the last 7 games. Need a complete rebuilding the question remains now tho whether the board are going to get their fingers out and splash a bit of cash (I won't hold my breath knowing the celtic board like I do). This is my assesment of the team as it stands

Boruc - Shakey in the middle of the season but seems to be back to near his best and with Zaluska to give him some competition next year I'm hoping he stays.
Brown - Will leave with new keepers coming in and not before time.
Wilson - far too inj prone and not that impressive. maybe 1 last chance but wouldn't be too dissapointed to see him go.
Hinkel - Most improved player this season. Worth keeping.
Naylor - way out of his depth. leave please.
McManus - Can't believe he is the captain. useless. leave please.
Caldwell - Keep.
Loovens - Looked good towards the end of season after a rocky start. worth keeping.
Crosas - Looked good on occasion but tends to hide. worth another shot.
Hartley - past it. leave.
Robson - Worth another season. Missed in the run in IMO
Brown - Keep. needs to work on his first touch though.
McGeady - Keep
Maloney - been poor since returning but worth another shot.
Donati - Still undecided tbh, maybe worth another shot, never really had his chance since a couple of really poor games in his 1st season
Venegoor - looks to be out the door, good last year but has lost it.
Samaras - Leave.
McDonald - Keep.

I completley agree with you on this view, however i would let Boruc go, and i would tell that board of yours to cough up or **** off

be nice to see both Celtic and Rangers get quality players in this season

have told them i won't be renewing until I see who the new manager is and who he brings in

was at the Tommy Burns match last week and big piere and cadete are better than vengoor and samaras now, shows you just how much the quality has dropped over the past 10 years.

I think both Celtic and Rangers should look at themselves and say that we get 50 and 60 thousand fans each week, we are supported all around the world, and that we are ranked as two of the better teams in europe, so we should start bringing in quality of players and managers like the time of dick advocat, alex mccleish and martin oneill

If you look at the players in Rangers like: Dado Prso, Boumsong, Numan, Frank and Ronald De Boer, Fernando Ricksen, Amorouso, Stefan Klos, Konterman, Mols, Lovenkrands, Nerlinger, Mikel Arteta

And if you look at Celtic: Stilian Petrov, Chris Sutton, Hartson, Larsson, Balde, Dedier Agathe, Myalbi, Alan Thompson, Lubo Maravjec, Pierre Van Hojdonk, Craig Bellamy

All these players were spent upon millions of pounds, and even sometimes we spent 10 or 12 million on a shite player and yet we could afford that, these times were the best of times for both teams, now look at them

Fukin Lafferty, Pat McCourt, Nial Miginn, Sebo, Broadfoot, Willo Flood, I mean com on, who the **** are these players.

If you ask me its the Board and managers fault end of, and this thing with Setanta isint helping either.
